Groomsmen Measurement Form
Out of town? Send us your measurements.
To get a custom wedding suit without coming to Dallas, have a local tailor take the measurements below, plus your height and weight. Send them at least ten weeks before the wedding. We file them under the groom's wedding party and text you if anything needs a second look.
Before you start
- Best: ask a local tailor or alterations shop to take these. It takes about ten minutes, and it's the most reliable way to get a suit right the first time.
- Otherwise: have a friend measure you with a soft cloth tape. Shoulder width and sleeve are hard to take on yourself.
- Wear a fitted shirt and the trousers and shoes you'd wear with a suit.
- Keep the tape level and snug, not tight. Write each number down as you go.
- After sending, text a front, side and back photo to (972) 970-2024 so we can check the numbers.

Measuring from out of town
Can groomsmen get measured for a wedding suit out of town?
Yes. Have a local tailor or alterations shop take the measurements on this page, then send them to us here. We file them under the groom's wedding party and text you if anything needs a second look. In special cases, we'll fly to you.
What measurements do I need for a custom suit?
Neck, chest, waist at the navel, seat, shoulder width and jacket sleeve for the jacket, plus trouser waist, outseam and inseam for the trousers. Bicep, wrist, jacket length, thigh and knee help us get it closer. Add your height and weight.
Should I measure myself or go to a tailor?
Go to a tailor if you can. Self-taken numbers are the most common reason a made-to-measure suit needs extra alterations. If you can't, have a friend measure you with a soft tape, and send photos so we can check.
When do groomsmen need to send their measurements?
At least ten weeks before the wedding. Every suit takes at least eight weeks to make, and the extra time leaves room to double-check numbers.
